With our Grey Performance Analysis, we screen individual processes in departments and functional units. Grey Performance represents everything which has not been taken into account within an optimal work flow. Grey Performance on the other hand is part of the live working environment, enforcing expensive and time consuming operational detours. By implementing Grey Performance Analysis, we show the potential of operational savings within and between departments.
The definition of workflows is often based upon (sometimes unascertained) assumptions, (e.g. optimal staff availability, stringent process compliance by staff etc.) As a consequence workflows emerge in daily operations which do not correspond to the goals of the related operational concepts. This results in ‘expensive operational detours = grey performance’ and deteriorates the operational success significantly.
Grey Performance Analysis enables us to trace operational deficits and allows to develop concepts for the workflow optimisation.
